What a surprise! I have read - and still have - scads of Ms. Love's romances on my Kindle, but have never before read one of her "who-done-its." This one has a middle-aged hero, Samuel Levy, a billionaire art critic, who popped off the page and into my dreams - and he's welcome back anytime! And our heroine is Isabel Floyd, an exotic young artist, getting ready for her first showing. And besides wanting to snatch her right off her feet and kidnap her to his island off the coast of Washington, he's also fascinated by her work. He recognizes her unique talent, and wants to show it to the art world as his very own "find." Isi's afraid that she isn't good enough, but between Sam and her adopted mother, who owns the gallery, they convince her to finish enough canvases for a show of her own. And then the attacks start, and the lush romance evolves into a hunt for the bad guys. From the very first page to the last page you were part of there world enjoying all of there happiness.
This is a good well written box set.as it goes problem is it leaves you hanging to get you to buy more books so can see how they end.for adult reads
I just feel like I had my heart broken. I guess I am too much of a softie to not be not bothered by the brutality in the story. I had no idea it would get so violent, but even when I did I had to finish it. So I would say it was compelling. It needed better editing. The characters were believable.
As much I would love for Ms. Love to have a better editor/editors, I can't help but to enjoy her writing. While I am not fan of serial writing, she does know exactly where to place a cliffhanger to keep one hooked. Fortunately, she gives her stories in bundles. She did surprise me as to who the killer was, but I hope future tales would retire the same method of getting rid of their obsession.
Sam and Isa.....falling deep into each other thinking love can conquer all..so much against them...will their love survive even Isa being kid napped? Will there be a HEA....sitting on the edge of my seat to find out...took only one day to read...loved it...

You get a lot of stories for your money here, but I can't give it more than three stars (and considered only giving two stars). While the overall stories kept me reading, I found it distracting with all the editing problems...incorrect words (passed instead of past, for example), extra words, spelling and grammatical problems, including inconsistencies in past/present tense and incorrectly placed commas, etc. Again, for the price, you get four different series, plus some previews - so a lot for the price, but they clearly needed to have someone proofread and edit before publishing. I expect some mistakes, but it looks like it may have gone through spell check at best with no one reading to make sure it actually made sense when all the words were read together.
